Bywgraffiad
Since graduating from the University of Wales College of Medicine with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy I have worked in the Gwent region of South Wales as an NHS Physiotherapist. My interests lie within the field of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and I have worked as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in this field for a number of years. This role allowed me to become a respected member of the Musculoskeletal Interface Team, developing advanced diagnostic and treatment skills. I have also worked alongside Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons specialising in the treatment of shoulder and knee conditions.
I have varied teaching interests including Anatomy, Biomechanics, Physiotherapy Skills and Exercise related topics. My previous role within the NHS has given me a vast experience of Practice Education and Clinical Placement tutoring.
Following completion of my MSc in Physiotherapy, in 2011 I was privileged to present my thesis to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Congress.
