Trosolwyg
I joined the Welsh School of Architecture in January 2019.
I am an architect by training and practice since 2003, a researcher in design problematics of heritage management since 2010, and an educator of architectural history, theory and design since 2013.
I hold a Diploma in Architectural Design and Engineering and an MSc in Architectural Design, Space and Culture, from the National Technical University of Athens. I also have a doctoral degree (PhD) in design aspects of critical engagement with archaeological heritage from the University of Edinburgh. My research is interdisciplinary and brings theories and methods from cognitive studies in architectural design.
I am a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, the Memory Studies Association, and the Association of Critical Heritage Studies. I have collaborated with various cultural institutions (AOC Archaeology-Group, Northlight-Heritage, Kelvingrove Museum and Arts Gallery, Museum of Asian Arts Corfu) for research purposes. I am currently leading BSc Year1 programme, teach theory and design across various levels of WSA programmes, and supervise doctoral students who investigate heritage design-management phenomena.

Ymchwil
Mae fy ymchwil yn rhyngddisgyblaethol ac yn dod â damcaniaethau a dulliau o faes ieithyddiaeth wybyddol a gwybyddiaeth ddosbarthedig i astudiaethau dylunio ac yn arbennig wrth reoli dylunio treftadaeth ddiwylliannol. Dros y 12 mlynedd diwethaf, bûm yn cydweithio ag amrywiol sefydliadau diwylliannol yng Ngwlad Groeg a'r Alban, ar gyfer dylunio/astudio arddangosfeydd cyhoeddus a rhaglenni ymgysylltu (Grŵp AOC, Northlight Heritage, Amgueddfa Celfyddydau Asiaidd Corfu, ac ati). Ariannwyd rhannau o fy ymchwil doethurol gan Goleg Celfyddydau Caeredin ac Ysgol y Celfyddydau i Raddedigion a'r Dyniaethau yn yr Alban.
Yn ehangach, mae fy ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar drosiadau gofodol fel sgaffaldiau gwybyddol a'u gallu i lunio dyluniad pensaernïol, a chefnogi ymgysylltiad empathig mewn amgylcheddau addysgol amrywiol (AU a sefydliadau treftadaeth). Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n edrych ar drosiadau sy'n siapio dyluniad treftadaeth arwynebedig, anodd neu dywyll, ac ar eu heffaith ar brofiad ymwelwyr.
Rwyf hefyd yn aelod o bwyllgor academaidd cymuned ymchwil newydd a ariennir gan GW4 sy'n casglu ac yn dirio gwybodaeth academaidd ar bensaernïaeth o alterity. Pensaernïaeth y Gymuned Ymchwil Alterity_GW4
Yn olaf, ond nid lleiaf, mae gen i ddiddordeb mewn addysgeg Dylunio Cynhwysol, neu mewn strategaethau dysgu dylunio sy'n cefnogi ac yn creu meddylfryd mwy cynhwysol mewn addysg bensaernïol. Mae ymchwil gyfredol yn canolbwyntio ar y celfyddydau perfformio a'u heffaith ar ddysgu dylunio, fel modd o sicrhau dealltwriaeth empathig o ddefnyddwyr dylunio sydd ag anableddau corfforol a/neu ddysgu. Dysgu Dylunio Empathetig
Ar hyn o bryd, rwy'n goruchwylio myfyrwyr ymchwil ôl-raddedig sydd â diddordeb mewn treftadaeth ddadleuol a nomadig, ond hefyd yn y gwaith o reoli asedau diwylliannol o'r gwaelod i fyny a'u heffeithiau posibl ar rymuso a lles cymunedol.
Rwyf hefyd yn adolygydd allanol ar gyfer Charrette, Journal of AAE.
Cwblhawyd yn ddiweddar ac ar hyn o bryd yn rhedeg prosiectau
