I am a lecturer in Mechanical Engineering within Cardiff University's Mechanical and Structural Performance Group ,my research interests include damage detection and location in metallic and composite structures using Acoustic Emission and Acousto-ultrasonics and Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) for aerospace applications. My research is industrially focused and I have worked with Airbus, BAE systems, Boeing, MOD, MBDA, Ultra Electronics and TWI. My future research interests include the use of audible acoustics for damage detection in structures.
