Rwy'n beiriannydd ynni siartredig sy'n ymchwilio i systemau carbon isel ar gyfer yr amgylchedd adeiledig. Mae marchnadoedd sy'n dod i'r amlwg wedi bod yn mabwysiadu technolegau yn llawer cyflymach yn ystod y degawdau diwethaf; Dylai gwyddoniaeth bensaernïol nawr arwain at integreiddio adeiladau yn ymarferol trwy ddarparu arweiniad a thystiolaeth gadarn o werthuso perfformiad. Bywgraffiad Byr
Rwy'n ddarlithydd mewn Gwyddoniaeth Bensaernïol yn Ysgol Pensaernïaeth Cymru (WSA), Prifysgol Caerdydd. Rwy'n Beiriannydd Siartredig (CEng) gyda'r Cyngor Peirianneg ac yn aelod o'r Sefydliad Peirianneg a Thechnoleg (IET). Mae gennyf BSc mewn Peirianneg Awtomeiddio, MSc mewn Systemau a Thechnoleg Ynni Adnewyddadwy a PhD mewn Adeiladu Casglwyr Aer Thermol Solar Integredig ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd.
Rwy'n gweithio yn y sector ynni adnewyddadwy a charbon isel sy'n arbenigo mewn integreiddio a gwerthuso perfformiad technolegau arloesol mewn adeiladau ac ôl-ffitio newydd. Fy arbenigedd yw modelu, monitro, offeryniaeth, dadansoddi data a datblygu fframwaith. Rwyf wedi profi sawl system gonfensiynol ac arloesol mewn adeiladau bywyd go iawn, gan ddatblygu protocolau gwerthuso ac integreiddio. Mae fy ngwaith wedi cael ei gyhoeddi a'i wobrwyo'n genedlaethol ac yn rhyngwladol. Ers 2012, rwyf wedi bod yn gweithio fel ymchwilydd yn nhîm gwyddoniaeth bensaernïol WSA gyda chyfrifoldebau addysgu pellach. Cyn dod yn ymchwilydd ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd, roeddwn yn ddatblygwr proses fesur yn y diwydiant ac mewn sefydliadau ymchwil fel y Ganolfan Ymchwil a Thechnoleg Hellas.
Fi yw'r Prif Ymchwiliad yn y Grant Ymchwil Digital Twin (2022) a grant gwerthuso perfformiad Passivhaus (2022). Rwy'n Gyd-ymchwilydd yn y Prosiect Perfformiad Adeiladu Monitro a noddir gan Gyngor Abertawe (Ionawr 21-25). Rwy'n eistedd mewn nifer o bwyllgorau mewnol ac allanol, e.e.
