Darlithydd mewn Gwleidyddiaeth
- Ar gael fel goruchwyliwr ôl-raddedig
Trosolwyg
Rwy'n Ddarlithydd mewn Gwleidyddiaeth ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd lle rwy'n addysgu ar etholiadau a dulliau ymchwil.
Mae fy ymchwil yn ymwneud â pholareiddio, camwybodaeth, seicoleg wleidyddol, a dulliau hydredol. Rwy'n gysylltiedig â'r Uned Ymchwil Seicoleg a Pholisi Cyhoeddus (PSYPOL) ym Mhrifysgol Caint lle rwy'n gweithio ar yr Arolwg VOICE (a ariennir gan y Cyngor Ymchwil Ewropeaidd).
Rwy'n cymryd ymagwedd ryngddisgyblaethol a methodolegol luosog tuag at fy ngwaith, gan dynnu ar fewnwelediadau o seicoleg gymdeithasol a chymdeithaseg i egluro sut mae dinasyddion yn mynd at wleidyddiaeth. Mae'r rhan fwyaf o'm gwaith presennol yn canolbwyntio ar ganlyniadau polareiddio ar gyfer normau democrataidd, i ba raddau y gall strategaethau cyfathrebu elitaidd frwydro yn erbyn camwybodaeth, ac agweddau dinasyddion tuag at drais gwleidyddol.
Cyn ymuno â Chaerdydd yn fy rôl bresennol, roeddwn yn Gydymaith Ymchwil Ôl-ddoethurol yn Ysgol Seicoleg Prifysgol Caint ac yn Gymrawd Ymchwil Ôl-ddoethurol ym Mhrifysgol Caerwysg.
