Fy grant EPSRC sylweddol diweddaraf oedd Gwobr Partneriaeth Portffolio ym maes Hylifau Cymhleth a Llifau Cymhleth mewn cydweithrediad â'r Ysgol Peirianneg yn Abertawe. Roedd y wobr hon yn caniatáu i mi ddatblygu modelu mathemategol ac offer efelychu rhifiadol ar gyfer cymwysiadau gan gynnwys deinameg swigod iro a cavitation. Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n cymryd rhan yng Nghonsortiwm y DU ar Wyddorau Peirianneg Mesoscale (UKCOMES) a ariennir gan EPSRC.
Mae fy ngwaith diweddaraf wedi bod yn ymwneud â datblygu modelau mathemategol ar gyfer hylifau viscoelastig cywasgadwy. Mae hyn wedi gofyn am ddealltwriaeth o thermodynameg systemau cymhleth. Rwyf hefyd yn gweithio ar y dull ffin trochi ar gyfer problemau rhyngweithio strwythur hylif, dulliau rhifiadol ar gyfer llifoedd amlgam, cymwysiadau biofeddygol deinameg swigod, modelu llif dŵr daear gan ddefnyddio elfennau meidraidd stocastig, dadelfennu cyffredinol priodol ar gyfer systemau eliptig ac ystod o dechnegau rhifiadol ar gyfer datrys hafaliad Fokker-Planck. Mae gen i ddiddordeb arbennig mewn dulliau elfen sbectrol a'r dull dellt Boltzmann.

Rwyf wedi dal athrawon gwadd ym Mhrifysgol Delaware (Peirianneg Gemegol) a'r Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Peirianneg Fecanyddol).
Rwyf wedi cyhoeddi dros 100 o bapurau mewn cyfnodolion rhyngwladol a dros 30 o bapurau mewn trafodion cynhadledd a adolygir gan gymheiriaid. Cyd-awdur un o'r monograffau ymchwil mwyaf blaenllaw yn fy maes - Rheoleg Gyfrifiadol - a gyhoeddwyd gan Imperial College Press yn 2002. Rwyf hefyd wedi cyhoeddi testun israddedig – Elfennau Mathemateg ar gyfer Economeg a Chyllid - a gyhoeddwyd gan Springer yn 2007. Cyhoeddwyd ail argraffiad o'r llyfr hwn ym mis Tachwedd 2023. Mae gen i brofiad sylweddol o oruchwylio ymchwilwyr ifanc (15 PDRAs a 28 o fyfyrwyr PhD).
