Trosolwyg
Rwy'n gynllunydd amgylcheddol sydd â diddordeb yn y ffordd y gwneir penderfyniadau, ac yn effeithio ar ganlyniadau amgylcheddol. Mae fy ngwaith yn archwilio deinameg llywodraethu mewn systemau cymhleth, ac yn nodi ffactorau sy'n galluogi neu'n atal systemau cynllunio i gyflawni canlyniadau gofodol penodol a bwriadedig. Mae llawer o'm hymchwil hyd yma wedi canolbwyntio ar y trefniadau llywodraethu sy'n ymwneud â chynllunio a rheoli'r Barriff Mawr, a datblygu dealltwriaeth o sut y gellir defnyddio safbwyntiau strwythurol-swyddogaethol wrth werthuso llywodraethu. Yn fwy diweddar, mae fy ymchwil wedi canolbwyntio ar dechnoleg mewn mannau cyhoeddus, a'i effaith ar greu lleoedd, ymdeimlad o le, a chynllunio ar gyfer mannau cyhoeddus.

Ymchwil
Mewn byd sy'n gynyddol drefol, mae bygythiad mawr i ansawdd amgylcheddol. Mae llawer o adnoddau naturiol yn parhau i ddiraddio er gwaethaf buddsoddiad sylweddol mewn cynllunio a rheoli, fel y Riff Rhwystr Mawr. Mae fy ymchwil yn archwilio'r cysylltiad rhwng ansawdd y penderfyniadau a threfniadau cynllunio ar gyfer rheoli adnoddau naturiol, a chanlyniadau amgylcheddol. Mae fy ymchwil yn tynnu ar syniadau, cysyniadau a damcaniaethau o ystod o ddisgyblaethau gwahanol, gan gynnwys gwyddorau gwleidyddol, cymdeithaseg, daearyddiaeth, a chynllunio gofodol. Rwyf hefyd yn cymryd rhan mewn ymchwil sy'n dod i'r amlwg yng nexus technoleg a dylunio trefol, gan archwilio gemau realiti estynedig fel Pokémon Go a'u heffaith ar y ffordd y mae pobl yn defnyddio mannau cyhoeddus.
Addysgu
Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n cyfrannu at ystod o fodiwlau israddedig ac ôl-raddedig ar bynciau gan gynnwys llywodraethu amgylcheddol, rheoli amgylcheddol a dylunio trefol.
