Rwy'n gynllunydd sydd â diddordeb yn y ffyrdd y mae technolegau digidol yn trawsnewid arferion cynllunio yn rhyngwladol. Yn ystod fy PhD dechreuais ddiddordeb yn y ffordd yr oedd cynllunwyr yn defnyddio cymwysiadau newydd ac arloesol o dechnolegau i wella prosesau cynllunio rheoli adnoddau naturiol. Ers symud i'r DU yn 2017, sylwais ymhellach ar wahaniaethau sylweddol yn y ffordd y mae cynllunwyr y DU yn defnyddio technoleg o'i gymharu â chynllunwyr roeddwn wedi gweithio gyda nhw yn Awstralia, gan sbarduno fy niddordeb mewn deall digideiddio systemau cynllunio. Dros y chwe blynedd diwethaf mae fy ymchwil wedi canolbwyntio fwyfwy ar ddeall y ffordd y mae technoleg yn cael ei defnyddio i drawsnewid systemau cynllunio ac agweddau ar ymarfer cynllunio dyddiol, gan gynnwys ymgynghori cyhoeddus, rheoli datblygu, cynllunio polisi, a strwythur systemau llywodraethu.
