Mae Laura Reynolds yn Ddarlithydd Marchnata yn Ysgol Busnes Caerdydd. Ar ôl graddio o'i PhD mewn Marchnata o Ysgol Busnes Caerdydd yn 2019, gweithiodd Laura fel Dadansoddwr Polisi yn Sefydliad Economaidd a Datblygu Dinas-ranbarth (City-REDI) ym Mhrifysgol Birmingham ac fel Cydymaith Ymchwil i Uned Ymchwil Economaidd Cymru. Yn fwy diweddar, cwblhaodd Laura Gymrodoriaeth Ôl-ddoethurol a ariennir gan ESRC yn yr Adran Farchnata yng Nghaerdydd.
Mae ei hymchwil yn archwilio'n feirniadol lywodraethu rhanddeiliaid mewn proses brandio lle datganoledig, gan archwilio technegau ar gyfer cynnwys pobl leol wrth lunio'r lleoedd y maent yn byw, gweithio a buddsoddi ynddynt. Mae gan Laura ddiddordeb arbennig mewn ymgysylltu, trafod a gwrthdaro posibl rhwng rhanddeiliaid lle a'r rhwystrau presennol i ddulliau mwy cynhwysol a chynaliadwy o frandio lle. Yn ganolog i'w hymchwil mae datblygu effaith gymdeithasol ac economaidd, gan ddatblygu ymchwil a all helpu i lywio polisi ac ymarfer.
Mae gwaith Laura yn cyd-fynd yn agos â phartneriaid diwydiant a chymunedol, gan weithio gyda'i gilydd i ymchwilio i lwybrau ar gyfer cynhwysiant rhanddeiliaid a dulliau brandio cynrychioliadol.
