Darlithydd, Is-adran Meddygaeth Seicolegol a Niwrowyddorau Clinigol
Trosolwyg
Rwy'n ddarlithydd yng Nghanolfan Wolfson ar gyfer Iechyd Meddwl Pobl Ifanc ac rwy'n rhan o'r grŵp seiciatreg Plant a'r Glasoed yn y Ganolfan Geneteg a Genomeg Niwroseiciatrig. Mae fy ymchwil yn ymchwilio i iechyd meddwl pobl ifanc gan ddefnyddio dull rhyngddisgyblaethol, gan integreiddio seicopatholeg ddatblygiadol, seiciatreg ac epidemioleg enetig. Mae gen i ddiddordeb arbennig mewn gwahaniaethau datblygiadol mewn etioleg a chyflwyniad problemau iechyd meddwl.
Yn 2023 cefais Grant Ymchwil Ymchwilydd Newydd MRC i ymchwilio i sut a pham mae ADHD yn arwain at iselder ymhlith pobl ifanc (2023-2026). Mae'r ymchwil hwn yn cael ei gyd-gynhyrchu gyda phobl ifanc sydd â phrofiad byw trwy Grŵp Cynghori Ieuenctid Canolfan Wolfson a Sefydliad McPin.
Rwyf hefyd yn gyd-ymchwilydd ar brosiect Horizon Europe Youth-GEMs: Gene Environment rhyngweithiadau mewn llwybrau iechyd meddwl ieuenctid (2022-2027).
