Mae Vasco yn Athro Rheoli Cadwyn Gyflenwi Cynaliadwy, ac mae'n gweithredu fel Cyfarwyddwr Rhaglen Rhagoriaeth Weithredol mewn Rheoli Cadwyn Gyflenwi a Logisteg Hyfforddiant a MSc Rheoli Cadwyn Gyflenwi Cynaliadwy, ac mae ganddi sawl rôl arweinyddiaeth allanol - Cadeirydd y Rhwydwaith Ymchwil Logisteg, aelod bwrdd golygyddol o Adnoddau Cadwraeth ac Ailgylchu, Arholwr Allanol modiwlau Rheoli Cadwyn Gyflenwi a Logisteg Prifysgolion Derby a Middlesex.

Mae Vasco yn cyfrannu'n weithredol at sefydliadau blaenllaw yn y sectorau manwerthu, bwyd/diodydd a logisteg Ewropeaidd yn y DU drwy'r ystod eang o weithgareddau trosglwyddo gwybodaeth a chymhwysol ymchwil y mae'n eu harwain. Mae Vasco hefyd yn cyhoeddi'n weithredol mewn cyfnodolion academaidd rhyngwladol gorau, yn arwain prosiectau ymchwil cymhwysol, yn cynhyrchu cynigion cyllido , ac yn sicrhau cyllid gyda chefnogaeth gref gan ei gydweithwyr yn y diwydiant. Mae'r rhan fwyaf o ymchwil Vasco yn berthnasol i gadwyni cyflenwi lleol a byd-eang, a meysydd amserol fel cynaliadwyedd, economi gylchol, datgarboneiddio, yr economi a rennir a rheoli risg a gwytnwch. Cyhoeddir ei ymchwil yn eang mewn prif gylchgronau rhyngwladol ac mae'n cyfrannu at gyflwyniad Prifysgol Caerdydd Fframwaith Rhagoriaeth Ymchwil y DU 2021 gyda dau gyhoeddiad 4* a 17 3*.

Ar hyn o bryd, mae Vasco yn gweithredu fel prif ymchwilydd neu gyd-ymchwilydd sawl prosiect ymchwil gymhwysol, gan gynnwys Cyd-Dwf, Giro Zero, ystod o brosiectau a ariennir gan Ocado ac mae'n gyd-sylfaenydd y gweithdy Gweithrediadau Gwyrdd Effeithiolrwydd Lean (iLEGO) arloesi blynyddol. Ers 2018 mae Vasco wedi sicrhau cyfanswm o £4 miliwn gan WEFO, Llywodraeth Cymru, Innovate UK a'r Cyngor Ymchwil Gwyddorau Ffisegol Peirianneg ac Adran Ynni Busnes a Strategaeth Ddiwydiannol y DU a Swyddfa Gymanwlad a Datblygu Tramor y DU, cyllid a ddefnyddir i redeg y prosiectau hyn.

2) Sut y gall modelau economi a rennir alluogi cynhyrchiant, perfformiad amgylcheddol a gwytnwch mentrau canolig, bach a micro?

3) Sut y gall cadwyni cyflenwi bwyd fod yn fwy parod ac yn fwy ymatebol i ddigwyddiadau swyn du fel Rhyfel yr Wcrain, COVID-19 a'r argyfwng costau byw?
