Mae fy niddordebau yn y ffyrdd amrywiol y gellir cymhwyso technegau geocemegol i ystod o archifau i ddatgelu mwy am y ffyrdd cymhleth y mae gwahanol elfennau o'r system hinsawdd yn rhyngweithio â'i gilydd.
Mae fy ymchwil gyfredol yn edrych ar Enhanced Rock Weathering fel dull o wrthbwyso allyriadau CO2, i helpu ar y llwybr i Sero Net.
Edrychodd fy ymchwil PhD ar gadwraeth foraminifera benthig yn ystod y Optimwm Hinsoddol Eocene Cynnar mewn ystod o leoliadau gyda gwahanol nodweddion lleol. I wneud hyn, cyfunais ddadansoddiadau EPMA o foraminfera unigol gyda dadansoddiad elfennau hybrin sy'n seiliedig ar atebion gan ICP-MS. Fe wnes i hefyd ddefnyddio cymarebau metel olrhain o foraminifera planctic yn y Eocene Oligocene Transition i ddysgu am newidiadau màs dŵr yn ystod y newid hinsawdd byd-eang arwyddocaol hwn.
