Trosolwyg
Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n gweithio o fewn CASCADE fel Cydymaith Ymchwil. Rwy'n Brif Ymchwilydd ar astudiaeth NIHR sy'n canolbwyntio ar ddeall sut y gellir ymgorffori Cynadleddau Grwpiau Teulu mewn gwaith cymdeithasol plant a theuluoedd statud. Rwyf hefyd yn Brif Ymchwilydd ar gyfer astudiaeth a ariennir gan Sefydliad Nuffield sy'n canolbwyntio ar Orchmynion Gwarcheidiaeth Arbennig yng Nghymru.
Dechreuais fy ngwaith gyda CASCADE ar raglen waith ar gyfer Canolfan What Work's ar gyfer Gofal Cymdeithasol Plant. Cyn hynny, gweithiais i Ganolfan Gwaith Cymdeithasol a Gofal Cymdeithasol Tilda Goldberg fel ymchwilydd ymsefydlu o fewn Awdurdod Lleol mewnol yn Llundain. Cyn gweithio ym maes ymchwil gwaith cymdeithasol, roeddwn yn ymchwilydd ym mwrdd arholi Prifysgol Caergrawnt, ac mae llawer o'm profiad hyd yma wedi cynnwys cysyniadu, mesur a datblygu sgiliau ac ymyriadau cymhleth o fewn addysg a gwaith cymdeithasol.
Rwy'n arbennig o frwdfrydig trwy ddeall beth all wneud gwahaniaeth i deuluoedd a phobl ifanc sy'n ymwneud â gofal cymdeithasol plant, a chysylltiadau rhwng yr hyn y mae gweithiwr cymdeithasol yn ei wneud a chanlyniadau teuluol ehangach. Gyda'r nod hwnnw mewn golwg, rwyf wedi gweithio ar nifer o brosiectau sy'n cael eu llywio gan realydd yn archwilio beth sy'n gweithio'n dda, i bwy, o dan ba amgylchiadau wrth leihau'r angen i blant fod mewn gofal.
Rwy'n ymgysylltu'n eang â'r gymuned academaidd. Er enghraifft, rwy'n aelod o Bwyllgor Moeseg Ymchwil Iechyd a Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru.

Ymchwil
Rwy'n gweithio mewn partneriaeth â staff ar draws gwahanol ddisgyblaethau. Rwy'n arwain prosiect cydweithredol a ariennir gan NIHR, gan dynnu ar arbenigedd gofal cymdeithasol plant yn CASCADE, arbenigedd Gwyddoniaeth Gweithredu yn Ysgol Feddygol Prifysgol Exeter a phrofiad ymarfer gwaith cymdeithasol gydag awdurdodau lleol partner. Yn ddiweddar, rwyf wedi gweithio ar brosiect a ariannwyd gan TRIUMPH (Ymchwil Trawsddisgyblaethol ar gyfer Gwella Iechyd Cyhoeddus Meddwl Ieuenctid) gyda DECIPHER ar addasu offer ar-lein i gefnogi iechyd meddwl pobl ifanc. Yn ogystal, rwyf wedi gweithio ar nifer o geisiadau a phrosiectau gydag ymchwilwyr ledled y DU ac yng Nghanada.
Rwy'n awyddus i ddatblygu rhaglen waith sy'n gysylltiedig â gofal sy'n berthnasau. Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n gweithio ar raglen PhD a ariennir gan ESRC sy'n archwilio profiadau gofalwyr sy'n berthnasau brodyr a chwiorydd ac anghenion cymorth. Yn ogystal, rwyf wedi derbyn Cymrodoriaeth Ymddiriedolaeth Goffa Winston Churchill yn 2019 i deithio i wledydd yn Asia (Cambodia, India a Japan) i archwilio dulliau o ofalu am faethu a gofal gan berthnasau.
