Trosolwyg
Nod fy ymchwil yw deall sut mae dynameg gweithgaredd electroffisiolegol yr ymennydd yn gysylltiedig ag iechyd ac anhwylderau gwybyddol fel clefyd Alzheimer, epilepsi, a risg o seicosis/sgitsoffrenia. Gyda chefndir mewn ffiseg fathemategol a niwrowyddoniaeth gyfrifiadurol, mae gen i ddiddordeb arbennig mewn datblygu dulliau newydd i holi a modelu gweithgaredd yr ymennydd a fesurir gan MEG, EEG ac MRI.
Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n Gydymaith Ymchwil Ôl-ddoethurol ar brosiect CONVERGE. Nod y prosiect hwn yw deall y cysylltiad rhwng cysylltedd / deinameg yr ymennydd a risgiau genetig sgitsoffrenia. Rwy'n gyfrifol am gasglu data fel delweddu'r ymennydd (MEG, MRI), ac asesiadau gwybyddol, modurol a seiciatrig gan blant gydag amrywiolion rhif copi sy'n gysylltiedig â risg uwch o sgitsoffrenia pan fyddant yn oedolion. Rwyf hefyd yn ymwneud â dadansoddi'r data hwn, ac integreiddio data llinell ddynol / cell/cnofilod ar draws graddfeydd lluosog mewn modelau achosol deinamig.
