Trosolwyg
Rwy'n Gymrawd Ymchwil mewn Ystadegau yn y Ganolfan Ymchwil Treialon ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd, lle rwy'n gweithio fel ystadegydd meddygol. Mae fy rôl yn cynnwys dylunio, cynnal, dadansoddi ac adrodd treialon rheoledig ar hap ac astudiaethau eraill sydd wedi'u cynllunio'n dda. Rwy'n canolbwyntio'n arbennig ar dreialon clinigol mewn haematoleg a chanser, yn ogystal ag ymchwil mewn iechyd amenedigol a meysydd iechyd cymhwysol eraill.
Mae fy nghefndir mewn bioystadegau, ac mae gen i arbenigedd mewn dadansoddi goroesi, modelu atchweliad, dulliau Bayesian, modelu rhagfynegol, a methodoleg treialon clinigol. Rwy'n cyfrannu at bob cam o ddatblygu a chyflwyno treialon, gan gynnwys datblygu protocol, cynlluniau dadansoddi ystadegol, adroddiadau, cyhoeddiadau, a cheisiadau grant. Yn ogystal, rwy'n cefnogi goruchwylio a mentora ystadegwyr iau ac yn cyfrannu at ymchwil methodolegol gydweithredol. Trwy fy ngwaith, rwy'n anelu at gymhwyso dulliau ystadegol cadarn i fynd i'r afael â chwestiynau clinigol pwysig a gwella canlyniadau cleifion.
