Dr Xiaobei Wang is a Lecturer for Logistics and Operations Management at Cardiff Business School. Dr. Wang's research broadly combines strategic management and logistics/supply chain. Her current research includes inter organizational relationship and collaboration, network based strategy/business models in relation to supply chain networks and Logistics Service Providers. She is also interested in research opportunities in relation to sustainable logistics/SCM, sustainable strategy/ business models and strategic impacts of information technology on logistics and supply chain.
Dr. Wang received her doctoral degree from BI Norwegian Business School, Oslo, Norway. Her doctoral work was part of an industrial research project funded by the Norwegian Research Council, Trebuchet, DHL and Itella. Xiaobei’s dissertation work, which is titled “Strategizing in Logistics Networks: the Role of Logistics Service Provider as Mediators and Network Facilitators” was based on a longitudinal case study of a Logistics Service Provider and its supply chain networks in the Nordic markets. Xiaobei received her master degree on Logistics and Transport Management from Gothenburg University, Sweden and bachelor degree on International Economy and Trade from China.
