Analyis amgylcheddol: Rydym yn datblygu dulliau ar gyfer monitro a deall tynged plastigau sy'n hydawdd mewn dŵr, microblastigau a gwlyb-wipes, er mwyn deall eu heffaith envionmental yn llawn. Mae gennym brosiectau cydweithredol sy'n ceisio deall effaith y deunyddiau hyn ar yr amgylchedd naturiol.
Polymerau yn y dyfodol: Rydym yn datblygu catalyddion ar gyfer paratoi polymerau newydd, ynghyd â'r dechnoleg i'w hailgylchu'n effeithiol trwy ddad-bolymereiddio. Ein nod yw paratoi deunyddiau sydd ag eiddo gwell i bolymerau traddodiadol fel y gellir eu defnyddio mewn cymwysiadau yn y byd go iawn wrth wella ôl troed amgylcheddol y sector polymer. Mae prosiectau penodol yn cynnwys rhai neu'r cyfan ohonynt:
- Paratoi amgylcheddau ligand newydd ar gyfer catalysis effeithiol
- Datblygu cymhlethdodau catalytig gweithgar ar gyfer polymerization
- Penderfyniad mecanwaith adwaith gan ddefnyddio dadansoddiadau sbectrosgopig ac astudiaethau cyfrifiannol
- Dadansoddi priodweddau deunyddiau polymerau newydd a wnaed yn ein labordy
