Rwyf wedi sefydlu arbenigedd a phortffolio o fewn ymchwil gwasanaethau iechyd a dulliau ymchwil ansoddol iechyd nin iechyd menywod. Mae fy ngwaith ôl-ddoethurol wedi canolbwyntio ar gyfathrebu gofal iechyd, gwella ansawdd a gofal iechyd cydweithredol, yn benodol gwneud penderfyniadau ar y cyd o fewn gwasanaethau gofal iechyd y GIG yn iechyd menywod.
Rwyf wedi arwain nifer o brosiectau dulliau cymysg gan gynnwys asesu anghenion, datblygu a gwerthuso ymyriadau gofal iechyd cydweithredol (gwneud penderfyniadau a rennir) mewn lleoliadau clinigol (clefyd cronig yr arennau / canser y fron / clefyd gwynegol awtoimiwn, ffibrosis systig).
Mae fy ngwaith yn canolbwyntio ar gefnogi iechyd menywod gan gynnwys Sgrinio Serfigol a gwneud penderfyniadau cyn beichiogi mewn menywod â chyflyrau hirdymor (Fibrosis Systig, Clefyd Cronig yr Arennau a Chlefyd Hinsoddol Autoim).

Ymchwil
I have growing national and international reputation within the academic filed of healthcare services research, healthcare communication, women’s health and qualitative research methods. I have numerious research publications and have secured over £1.4 million in grant funding as co-applicant/lead applicant within the field of healthcare communication over the past 5 years.
I have led the dissemination of research findings through the production of reports, stakeholder events, social media (e.g. Twitter) and many oral conference presentations internationally (Netherlands, France, Portugal) and nationally (e.g. SAPC, DHP, PRIME). I have been invited speaker at the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology as well as the Wales Assembly for Women.

Meysydd goruchwyliaeth
I currently supervise PhD student Zoe Abbott. Thesis focuses on co-production of pre-conception health for women with inflammatory arthritis (funding Health and Care Research Wales, co-supervisor)
I also currently supervise two intercalated degree students. One project focuses on COVID-19 outcomes in vulnerable populations and the other focuses on patient reported safety concerns in healthcare.
I am external supervisor to an MSc Health Psychology Student in Cardiff Metropolitan University.
