Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n gydymaith ymchwil ôl-ddoethurol sy'n gweithio gyda Drs Katerina Kaouri a Thomas Woolley ar ddatblygu efelychydd epidemig dan do i lywio a lliniaru achosion epidemig yn y dyfodol, mewn cydweithrediad agos â'r Athro Wassim Jabi a'i ariannu gan Grant Cyflymu Effaith UKRI. Yn wahanol i atebion presennol, mae ein efelychydd yn integreiddio geometreg dan do manwl, dyluniad pensaernïol a symudiad unigolion, ynghyd â modelau mathemategol newydd o ledaeniad a llif firws. Gwneir y dyluniad pensaernïol trwy Topologicpy, meddalwedd dylunio digidol pensaernïol sefydledig a ddatblygwyd yn yr Athro Jabi. Bydd yr efelychydd yn darparu'r risg o haint o glefyd heintus i grŵp o bobl mewn gofod dan do gydag amserlen benodol.
Cyn fy swydd bresennol, roeddwn i'n Gydymaith Ymchwil Ôl-ddoethurol EPSRC yn Sefydliad Mathemategol Prifysgol Rhydychen, yn gweithio ar lifau Stokes a chludiant microgronynnau mewn bifurcations micro-long gyda'r Athro Sarah Waters. Gyda'r Athro Nick Trefethen, fe wnaethom ddatblygu algorithm amcangyfrif rhesymegol ar gyfer cyfrifo llifoedd Stokes 2D. Cyn hyn, fe wnes i fy DPhil ar fodelu trafnidiaeth ocsigen a difrod meinwe yn yr ymennydd dynol gyda'r Athro Stephen Payne yn y Sefydliad Peirianneg Biofeddygol (IBME). Derbyniais fy BEng (Anrh) mewn Peirianneg Fecanyddol o Brifysgol Caeredin.
