Overview
I'm an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Cantabria, and Honorary Research Fellow at the Cardiff Business School. I serve on the editorial board of the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, and the Journal of Economic Policy Reform.
My research interests include public service performance and public sector reform, with an emphasis on marketization, cross-sector partnerships and decentralization. I have recently published in leading academic journals including Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Urban Economics, World Development, and Public Administration Review, among others.
