Dr Ayesha Khan

I am an honorary research fellow at the Islam-UK Centre, Cardiff University having completed my Ph.D. here in 2020. I have since worked in a number of research and policy roles in the public and third sector, even setting up my own charity CareStart (carestart.co.uk), and have guest lectured at universities across the UK. My doctoral thesis was situated in multidisciplinary fields of British Muslim Studies and the Sociology of Religion, focusing on contemporary Sufism amongst young British Muslims. 

 

I currently work as a consultant in the private sector and Chair of Trustees for CareStart.
