Senior Clinical Tutor, South Wales Doctoral Training Programme in Clinical Psychology
Overview
I am a practicing clinical psychologist and senior tutor on the South Wales Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme based at Cardiff University. My roles on the programme involve the selection and recruitment of trainees, overseeing the first year curriculum, supporting trainees, delivering teaching and supervising doctoral theses.
I have worked as a clinical psychologist in the NHS since 2004 largely with adults of working age in secondary mental health settings. I am a BABCP accredited practitioner and have specialist training in DBT and EMDR. I currently work in a specialist eating disorders service and have a research interest in this area.
