Overview
Mr Glaser is an experienced diplomat who joined the Training Division of the European Commission in 1975 and served the Commission in a variety of roles until his retirement in 2005. His tasks included six years dealing with the ACP countries and, since 1993, with the enlargement process. His final job before posting to Budapest was concerned with public information covering 29 countries involving a budget of €150 million. He ended his tour in Budapest as Head of the EU Representation.
Since his retirement Mr Glaser has been appointed to the Tender Evaluation Committee in Romania in 2005, appointed Visiting Professor at the Central European University in Budapest in 2005 and appointed Visiting Professor at Budapest Business School in 2006. Mr Glaser is providing the module European Union External Relations on our MSc Econ International Relations degree scheme.
