Overview
I am a research student at the Center of Language and Communication Research (CLCR). I have an MA in applied linguistics from Cardiff University in 2021. My PhD thesis examines how mainstream news media construct news values in their news shared on micro-blogging platforms, particularly Twitter. The research aims to explore the variation in discursive news values across different platforms (Twitter and news websites).
