Research
My research interests include One Health, zoonotic diseases, infectious disease epidemiology, disease surveillance systems, behavioural risk, and serious games.
Thesis
Hidden Risks: Identifying and Addressing High-Risk Behaviours for Zoonotic Disease Transmission
For my PhD project, I aim to 1) summarize what is already known about behavioral risk for zoonotic disease spillover in Wales, 2) identify hidden behavioral risk factors not already being captured, and 3) determine how best to prevent or mitigate those risks.
Funding sources
I am part of the OneZoo Centre for Doctoral Training with cross-council funding from the NERC, BBSRC, and MRC.
