Young people and music in Wales
Anthem. Music Fund Wales - Atsain Consultation 2025/26
- I produced a research document for Anthem that surveyed the barriers in accessing music opportunities faced by young people in Wales to music opportunities. This research worked with the recipient organisations of Anthem's sixth round of Atsain funding, and the young people enrolled on their projects.
- The research was constructed from previous interviews and workshops young Atsain organisations and young people conducted by another independent researcher, as well as my own.
Anthem. Music Fund Wales/Wazo Coop - Rural Routes Rhythms
- I created a research and mapping document that surveyed the current challenges faced by young people in rural communities in Wales and Spain (focusing on Extremadura). This document also compiled resource mapping of venues, festivals, recording grants, bursaries, training opportunities and wellbeing initatives for young people in rural communities.
- I presented research findings (remote) to project participants as part of their residential programme in Extremadura
