Overview
I began my Creative and Critical Writing PhD at Cardiff in 2026. It will be my third qualification with this institution following a Masters in Creative Writing (2025, Distinction) and Bachelors in English Literature and Creative Writing (2024, First Class Honours).
My research, under the supervision of Dr Timothy Rhys and Dr Stephen Gordon, explores the uncanny through a creative project which merges mythologies and modern technologies, and accompanying critical research into the history of the literary doppelganger. My research touches on welsh folklore, global mythologies and the uncanny.

Biography
I graduated from Cardiff University in 2024 with a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing (First Class Honours). I then undertook an MA in Creative Writing in 2025 (Distinction). I was the recipient of the Sir Julian Hodge Prize for English Literature.
My third year creative dissertation (2024), focusing on the merging of mythology with modern technology, formed the basis for my current research.
