The Regulation For Cryptocurrency And Its Related Crimes: Analysing The Domestic Approaches And Compliance To Fatf Recommendation 15 And 16 Of The United Kingdom, United States And Japan
With the rising instances of fraud, proliferation of new techniques and the subsequent increased severity of its application as both a method of generating illicit funds for money laundering and terrorism financing, does this give an adequate amount of credence for the Financial Action Task Force to extend its consideration and focus to include Fraud?
Furthermore, can the Current Domestic and International Approaches towards Regulating the Misuse of Cryptocurrencies both as an Entity and as a component in a transaction, adequately prevent the usage of cryptocurrencies in Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing and Fraud?
