Overview

I am a PhD researcher at the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University. My research focuses on children’s thermal comfort in outdoor playgrounds. I hold an MSc in Housing and City Planning from University College London, where my dissertation explored intergenerational housing support in cities of different sizes, and a BA in Urban Planning and Design from the University of Liverpool.

Before starting my doctoral study, I gained research and professional experience at the China Academy of Urban Planning and Design and the China BIM Union, contributing to projects on urban data analysis, BIM-based design review, and sustainable development. My interdisciplinary background bridges architecture, urban planning, and environmental design, shaping my current research on thermally resilient and child-friendly urban spaces.
