Biography

Betsan Doyle is a current PhD Postgraduate researcher in Sociology, with 5 years of experience researching national identity through a political and sociological perspective. She has a First class (with Honours) degree in Sociology and Politics from the University of Edinburgh, and First class Masters of Science degree from Cardiff University. She is currently undertaking her PhD at Cardiff University, supported by a studentship from the Welsh Graduate School of Social Sciences. As an early career researcher, Betsan is interested in understanding and developing our academic understanding of the development and navigation of identity, specifically in complex multicultural contexts.
