Overview
I completed my BSc in Biomedical Science and MSc in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine at Cardiff University. I am currently a PhD researcher within the Biomaterials Research Group at the Dental school. My research investigates phospholipids in bone-derived extracellular vesicles and their potential role in promoting bone regeneration.

Research
My research project involves the extraction and characterisation of extracellular vesicles (EVs) from human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells and a human osteoblast cell model (Saos-2); and specifically analyses phospholipids within the EVs to determine their role in modulating osteogenesis in vitro.
