Overview
I am in my first year of PhD studies in Politics and International Relations. My academic background is interdisciplinary and includes communications for development and sociology. I am currently researching girls’ everyday politics.
I have 5+ years of working experience, mainly in third-sector organisations focused on equality for girls and biodiversity conservation.

Thesis
Girls' Everyday Politics in the Dominican Republic and El Salvador
This research aims to explore how girls engage in politics in their everyday lives. The project will include data drawn from Plan International’s longitudinal study and fieldwork with girls in the Dominican Republic and El Salvador.
The supervisors are Dr Rosie Walters (School of Law and Politics) and Dr Joey Whitfield (School of Modern Languages).
