Overview
Amirhossein is a PhD researcher at Data Lab for Social Good (DL4SG). He is passionate about using operations research and machine learning to analyze various types of data and solve real-world complex challenges. He previously focused on enhancing construction safety, and is now working at the intersection of healthcare and climate change. Under the supervision of Prof. Bahman Rostami-Tabar, and Dr. Thomas Woolley, Amirhossein's PhD research will explore how climate change risks, particularly rising sea levels and increased flooding, will shape the future delivery of health and care services.

Climate change and the future of health and care service delivery in Wales: Building resilience to rising sea levels & flooding
This study will explore how climate change risks, particularly rising sea levels and increased flooding, will shape the future delivery of health and care services by utilizing data analytics, statistical learning, operations research, optimization, forecasting, machine learning, deep learning, probabilistic modeling, computer vision, and natural language processing.
This research is supported by four partners:
