Overview
I am a first year PhD student within the Politics and International Relations department, researching the gendered discourses of 'post-neoliberalism', as they are articulated and made commonsensical in US/UK television shows. As part of my thesis, I am especially keen to interrogate whether right-wing norms and ideas are being mainstreamed in these programs, and if this constitutes a crisis of neoliberal ideology in the Global North.
Prior to starting my PhD in 2025, I completed my BScEcon in International Relations and Politics (2024) and my MA in International Relations (2025) both at Cardiff University.
