Overview
My general research interests revolve around the intersections between politics, environment and development, with particular focus on the global south. Specific to this are topics relating to urban planning/development, urban water management, social justice and questions of inequality within urban spaces, political ecology, necropolitics and citizen participation.

Research
My PhD research interests focus on resource distribution, governance and socio-spatial inequalities in relation to urban water and more specifically on the role social media plays in shaping and influencing discourses on urban water resilience in sub-Saharan Africa.
