Overview

Rivers are major conduits of plastic pollution to the marine environemnt. I'm investigating the sources of microplastic to the freshwater river environment at a catchment scale, understanding the abundance, polymer type, fate, and transfer through the food web, along a river's course, focussing on River Taff, Wales.
