Overview
My research is aimed at understanding what influences the debate around energy security and net zero.
My research also goes deep into understanding how energy politics is a core issue in the factionalisation of the political right and how it has become a battle for the soul of what it means to be a conservative.
Alongside studying for a PhD, I am the policy lead in Wales for an organisation dedicated to ensuring a just transition towards net zero. My professional work allows me to advocate for decarbonised energy and green transport.
Biography
My PhD is titled The Energy Industrial Complex: The fight for the soul of conservatism and the future of the planet.
