Mr George Tridimas

I am a PhD student working in C*-algebras and homotopy theory.

The title of my thesis is "Symmetries of C*-algebras through the lens of stable homotopy theory".

I hold a PhD studentship from the Heilbronn Institute for Mathematical Research at the University of Bristol.

My MMath thesis, titled "Categories and Classifying Spaces", was under the supervision of my PhD lead supervisor Dr Ulrich Pennig.

I studied the following topics:

Classification of principal bundles over CW complexes
Constructions of classifying spaces for a given topological group (by Segal & Milnor)
Classification of finite rank complex and real vector bundles over CW complexes
Complex Bott periodicity via simplicial spaces (by Bruno Harris)
