Overview

Shuye joined the Welsh School of Architecture as a full-time PGR student in October 2019, prior to which she completed master training at Wuhan University in 2019 and undergraduate courses at Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2015. She had undertaken several projects funded by the government or NGO for improving the built environment and health in rural China, such as rural housing renovation in Xianning, Hubei, vernacular heritage conservation in Fuzhou, Jiangxi, and Wu Zhi Qiao in Macha village, Gansu.

Shuye is interested in residential energy usage and households' well-being, especially in low-income communities.
