Overview

I’m a PhD candidate at Cardiff University's School of Journalism, Media and Culture. I studied Journalism at East China Normal University and completed a master’s at the University of Glasgow, where I built solid skills in media analysis and research. I also spent three years working at a digital media center, gaining hands-on experience with digital platforms and understanding how they shape public conversations.

My research focuses on citizen journalism and how digital media can give marginalized communities a voice. I look at how these platforms challenge mainstream narratives, encourage more inclusive conversations, and create opportunities for social change. I’m passionate about exploring the ways media can make a real difference in society.
