School Manager
Overview
I'm Charlie (she/her pronouns).
I'm currently working as the School Manager of the School of Mathematics. I provide professional management support to the Head of School and senior colleagues within the school. As part of this, I line manage a number of Professional Services teams and work on a breadth of projects that feed into the school’s strategic and operational plans.
I have a keen interest in HR, enhancing staff experience and process automation / development.
Biography
I've been working at Cardiff University since 2018, and have subsequently worked in several schools (SOCSI, COMSC, BIOSI, OPTOM, HCARE, and PHRMY) in a number of HR focused roles. I am currently based within the School of Computer Science & Informatics as their Deputy School Manager.
Prior to working here, I studied by Undegraduate degree in Business Management and an MSc In Human Resource Management, both at Cardiff Business School.
