Overview

I am a PhD student based at the Tiny to Tots lab at CUCHDS, supervised by Dr Sarah Gerson. My PhD research focuses on learning through collaboration in young school-aged children. I investigate (adult-child) collaboration in digital and tangible tasks when collaborating in person or through video call. I am interested in how this collaboration links to children's source memory - e.g. who did which part of the task - and how errors in children's source memory can enhance task-related memory and learning.

I am also interested in digital and imagined collaborators that children might have, such as on-screen avatars, large language models, or puppets and dolls.
