Overview
I am a PhD student looking at surface meltwater on glaciers. Currently, I am developing a model which predicts the 2-D evolution of meltwater channels. The model is being written in Python and aims to bring together open channel hydraulics, atmospheric data, as well as field observations.
With this model I will apply it to Antarctic and Greenlandic ice shelves so that we can better undertand their stability.
