Overview

I supply support to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) taught modules involving the use of new and emerging architectural software and drafting/imaging and modelling techniques, including class demonstrations of software, supervision and delivery of workshops, and supporting lectures.

In addition I also manage the day to day running of the robotics lab which is used for both teaching and research in the areas of robotic construction and digital fabrication.

Biography

I graduated from the Arts Instiute at Bournemouth with a BA(hons) in Modelmaking for Design and Media in 2005 specialising in architectural modelmaking.

My career as an architectural modelmaker spanned working for a number of modelmaking practices making models for projects all over the world before joining Foster + Partners, London in 2007 as their Rapid Protoyping Manager.

In 2010 I changed career paths and began working as a Technician in Design and Technology at a number of renowned schools in London before relocating to Cardiff in 2016 and furthering my career in education at the Welsh School of Architecture.
