Overview

Callula Blundell is a Registered Nurse (Child). She completed a Master of Nursing Science at the University of Nottingham in 2017, graduating with 1st Class Honours and the MNurSci Academic Award. 

Callula worked as a Paediatric Nurse in a range of clinical settings in both England and Wales, but with the majority of her clinical experience focused in Paediatric Emergency and Trauma care. Callula has completed further training in Advanced Paediatric Life Support and Paediatric Trauma (Level 1 and 2). 

Callula joined Cardiff University as a Lecturer in Child and Young People's Nursing in December 2021, and works across Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. She gained Fellowship with the Higher Education Academy in 2023. 

Alongside her lecturing role, Callula is a Disability and Wellbeing Lead for Undergraduting Nursing programmes, supporting students who require reasonable adjustments to their academic or clinical education.
