Overview

My research focuses on the theoretical understanding of how language is represented in the bilingual brain. My previous research aimed to answer whether syntax is separate or shared in Spanish-English bilingual comprehension using methods such as structural priming. My PhD explores bilingualism from the perspective of pragmatics by researching areas such as scalar implicatures.
