Administration Officer
Overview
As an Administrative Officer for the Learning and Teaching Academy, working in the Projects & Operations team, I help ensure that our day-to-day operations run smoothly. The main areas I cover are CPD events , Recruitment and HR.
I work part time on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Biography
After 20 years working in the life assurance industry focusing mainly in process improvement and customer service I took the opportunity of voluntary redundancy to try new and different things and to spend more time with my children. My last role was providing the all the office support in a busy farm shop and cafe just outside Bath - the most varied role ever, hard work, but a lot of fun and also the bonus of most amazing lunches and cakes!!
I joined the LTA at Cardiff University in August 2023.
In my spare time I love walking my dog, with friends and family, enjoying the countryside where I live between Bristol and Bath. I love a festival, a gripping book, a captivating film/TV Series and some delicious food - simple pleasures and time with my friends & family are what I'm about!
