Overview
I am a Cardiff Co-Director for the Wales Institute of Social and Economic Research and Data (WISERD).
As an applied labour economist, I have undertaken a research examining a variety of issues related to employment and the labour market. This research has been based on large scale primary data collection, as well as conducting analysis on secondary survey and administrative data sources. My research has been published in leading journals including Labour Economics, the Cambridge Journal of Economics and the British Journal of Industrial Relations. My work has had significant impact outside of academia and I frequently make presentations of my research to policy experts and scientific advisory boards.
