Biography
Diana De is a Reader in Healthcare Sciences at Cardiff University and a Principal Fellow of Advance HE, recognised for her leadership in nurse education and curriculum innovation. With an extensive clinical background in critical care across the UK, Australia, and the Caribbean, Diana brings a global perspective to healthcare education.
Diana’s work is driven by a commitment to equity, inclusivity, and cultural safety, with a strong focus on improving public health outcomes for underrepresented and BAME communities. Diana has pioneered international health education programs, embedding challenging and transformative topics within healthcare curricula to foster global citizenship, advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and strengthen safeguarding practices.
A passionate advocate for red cell disorder awareness, Diana has significantly influenced policy and education initiatives across multiple countries, raising the profile of these conditions and influencing health service improvements.
