Research Culture
Overview
Mine is a career in two parts. The first half was a mixture of policy development and research to inform policy, primarily for a higher education funder. There was also a brief detour into academia. For the second half I've been working inside higher education, running projects and developing policy that supports research culture. I'm currently a co-investigator on the Wellcome funded Cynnau | Ignite research culture project. My connection to disciplines has ranged from international relations to organisational development and and computer science - and then back to arts, humanities and social sciences!
