Overview
I am a systems engineering specialist experienced in all aspects of developing software and systems to meet complex challenges, with more than 15 years of commercial experience and over 7 years leading a systems engineering team providing academic research support.
I am also the Deputy Theme Lead of the Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Unit at the MRC Centre for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics. My research interests include employing cutting edge data science tools and practices to enable new questions to be asked of the increasingly large and complex data sets that are gathered for genomic research, in particular to discover novel evidence for repurposing approved drugs to treat other disorders.
